Broccoli & Cheese mac & cheese  

Delicious Milford Valley Broccoli and Cheese chicken entrées are the perfect way to add extra flavor to classic mac and cheese.

Broccoli & Cheese mac & cheese 

Cook Time: 40 minutes  /  Makes 6–8 servings

  • 3 - 5 oz. Milford Valley Broccoli & Cheese Chicken Entrées
  • 16 oz. elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Swiss cheese (or white cheddar)
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 2.5 cups 1% or 2% Milk
  • 1.5 cups Broccoli cut into small florets
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • Fresh ground pepper as needed
  1. Bake the Milford Valley Broccoli & Cheese Chicken Entrees according to package instructions.
  2. While the chicken is in the oven, boil elbow macaroni & cheese to el dente and drain.
  3. In a separate pan, melt butter and add in the flour, stirring constantly to make a roux.
  4. Slowly add milk to the roux and continue to stir constantly.
  5. Stir in cheeses and salt and simmer sauce until it thickens and all of the cheese has melted (about 15 minutes).
  6. While the sauce simmers, blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2-3 min, then place the broccoli in an ice bath after.
  7. Pour sauce over elbow macaroni and stir in broccoli.
  8. Once chicken cools, slice the entrees into 1/2” pieces.
  9. Serve mac and cheese in bowls and top with chicken entrée slices.
